Psychic Liberation (PL) is a label founded in 2013, originally run by Miguel Alvariño under the title Primitive Languages as a cassette and record store project in New York City. Since 2019, it has been run solo by Nick Klein under the name Psychic Liberation from the EU. The concert series of the same name takes place with changing guests.

Debit
The work of composer, producer and performer Debit encompasses avant-garde experimentation, global club variations and powerful sound design. Her practice combines high-concept composition, site-specific art and intense club performances, fusing cultural depth with experimental sound design.

Since 2017, she has been driving the export and recontextualization of Latin American club music. On the dance floor, Debit's DJ sets combine Latin American-inspired percussion rhythms (guaracha, tribal, raptor house, dembow, reggaeton and Brazilian funk) with techno and bass-heavy grooves.

In recent years, she has expanded her focus to compositions and site-specific works that explore historical narratives, layered temporalities and spatial acoustics.

At silent green, Debit presents her release Desaceleradas as an extended live A/V show.

Elif Gülin Soğuksu
In her performance, Elif Gülin Soğuksu explores the voice as a fundamental medium of sonic imagination - an ever-present, mutable and affective force through which imagined, remembered and perceived sounds merge. Rather than conceiving of the voice as a carrier of language, identity or representation, this performance understands it as a relational, affective and imaginative force that circulates between inner and outer sound experiences.

The performance is based on live coding experiments that process, synthesize and spatially arrange sounds using algorithmic processes. The result is a malleable sonic space that moves back and forth between the traces of the vocal, exploring how the voice evokes intimacy, auditory hallucination, memory and imaginative listening.

Victor Burton
Victor Burton works with and around sound. His works emerge from an exploration of the sonic and the limits of its materialization. Hypothetical design processes are made audible by means of computer audio or electromagnetic sculptures. Originally from Montréal, Victor lives and works in Berlin.

SUPERJEKTIN' VOL. 1 by Victor Burton
As part of the Psychic Liberation Night, he presents his project SUPERJEKTIN' VOL. 1 - an iterative mixtape, a fictional product of the constructed encounter between footwork and procedural manipulations that draws on the abstract potential of wavelet transformation as a medium for sonic derivation.
