SANAM
SANAM is a six-piece orchestra from Beirut that combines experimental rock with traditional Egyptian music and modern Arabic poetry. Their sound moves between psych, krautrock, jazz, electronics and improvisation. Multi-layered, atmospheric and cross-style. The band was founded in 2021 after a joint performance at the Irtijal Festival and consists of members of well-known Lebanese acts such as Kinematik, Postcards and Al Rahel al Kabir.

Their debut album Aykathani Malakon (2023, Mais Um Discos) was recorded live and received recognition from media outlets such as The Guardian, The Wire and BBC Radio 6. SANAM has performed at international festivals such as Le Guess Who?, Roskilde and Suoni Per Il Popolo. In September 2025, her second album Sametou Sawtan was released on the Canadian label Constellation Records.

The sound of the sea, when it sounds loud and ominous, similar to loud human or machine noises, announces bad weather.

Ambient duo gleo is made up of Berlin-based Irish musicians Cathal Berkeley and Ben Higgins. Founded in 2023, they have continuously developed their sound and have increasingly made a name for themselves in the city's DIY and community scene.

With influences from many areas of experimental sounds, their productions and performances are characterized by manipulated samples, raw field recordings and tape loops. With a strong focus on live improvisation, a gleo performance feels intimate and soulful.
