On Thursday, October 8, 2026, Rathmann's "Die Goldenen Zwanziger" Tour 2026 will make a stop at the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen. Start is at 8 pm, admission from 7 pm. The band brings a dark, unpolished guitar indie pop to the stage that doesn't play melancholy, pressure and romance off against each other, but allows them to stand side by side. The evening will be opened by Lehner, whose sound oscillates between indie, rock, punk and rap and gives the concert a nervous, charged energy early on. The event is organized by Kulturhaus Schwanen.

Rathmann are not interested in smooth gestures. Their songs come from a present in which people get out of step, relationships fall apart, the future appears more as a question than a promise and this strange feeling of being in one's twenties settles in between being overwhelmed and setting off. On their debut album "Die Goldenen Zwanziger", which will be released in the fall of 2026, the band condenses this mood into a sound that remains spatial and raw, but is also catchy. There is indie rock and folk, a shade of Hamburg School, some Leonard Cohen, some Big Thief, even a touch of Italo-Western in the title track - but above all there is a band that does not chase after its references, but develops its own temperature from them. The first single "Wenn alles vorbei ist", which will be released on February 20, 2026, gives a first impression of this: a song that places tiredness, longing and defiance in a relationship that will resonate for a long time.

The fact that this evening will be more than a classic headliner-plus-support format is also down to Lehner. The band from the Stuttgart/Karlsruhe area brings a different kind of restlessness to the table: more direct, brusque, sometimes almost roaring, then very close to whispering in the next moment. Their songs work with driving beats, jangling guitars and melodies that never come across as pretentious. The lyrics oscillate between self-doubt, ecstasy, frustration and exuberance, which is precisely why they don't sound pretentious, but rather like a lived present. Pop pushes against post-punk, rock against rap, dilettantism against skill - and this friction creates a force that makes Lehner not just a support band, but a prelude with its own color.

This is precisely the appeal of this concert evening: Rathmann and Lehner share a flair for breaks, dynamics and songs that prefer to leave things open rather than provide hasty answers.
The one works more with atmosphere, inner movement and dark beauty; the other with pressure, edge and an approach that also allows for noise.
