There is no turning back! No future without us!

Why a Leipzig Women*FLINTA*Festival 2026?

We are joining forces and fighting for a just future! We stand up against all forms of patriarchal violence and all forms of discrimination based on gender, origin, age and socio-economic status.

Our goal is: overcoming violence!

We stand in solidarity against all forms of violence against women*, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people (FLINTA)!

Solidarity in times of pandemics, wars and climate crises is existential! We are committed to consciously shaping a common future in which we all have equal rights and opportunities.

War is the ultimate form of violence. Girls, women*FLINTA and queer people are particularly threatened by it. They are particularly affected and vulnerable in war zones and when fleeing. We call for support for all those who are currently suffering the consequences.

We show solidarity with all countries and peoples/ethnic groups who are denied the right to exist due to nationalistic religious devaluations and support a dialog that aims for a humane, peaceful, non-violent coexistence.

Common struggles unite!

We position ourselves for an open dialog in order to make clear demands together.

Feminism has many faces - and the diversity of feminist currents and movements is an asset. If we argue and discuss in a respectful and appreciative manner, we can also develop together and counteract divisions.

We share perspectives, knowledge and experiences! Our diversity is our strength.

We don't all have the same starting conditions in this society. As women and FLINTA, we are affected by sexist discrimination and practices based on gender attributions. In addition, there are multiple forms of discrimination that are racist, ableist (discrimination based on disability), classist, trans- & queer-hostile or produce prejudices and exclusions based on age. It is therefore important that we show solidarity, listen to each other, acknowledge experiences, recognize knowledge and broaden perspectives.

Form feminist alliances!

We deepen networks with all those who are fighting for the same goals. Together we are stronger.

We stand together against increasing nationalist attacks on feminist and equality-oriented movements - in a world in which conservative and nationalist forces are gaining influence. We therefore call for alliances to be formed and strengthened on a foundation of respect and tolerance in order to stand up for a future without violence and right-wing terror!

For a life without fear!

Our goal is to shape a liveable and self-determined everyday life free of violence for all!

Article 3 of the Basic Law must be implemented: "All people are equal before the law. (...) No one shall be disadvantaged or favored because of his sex, his origin, his race, his language, his homeland and origin, his faith, his religious or political views. No one shall be discriminated against on the grounds of disability."
