The workshop is aimed at anyone interested - no previous experience is required. Please wear comfortable, movement-friendly clothing and shoes. The workshop will be held in English.
Alvin Collantes is a Filipino-Canadian dance artist, drag performer, and certified Jungian life coach in Berlin. Drawing from his personal experiences as a passionate raver and queer immigrant person of color, his research explores themes of assimilation and related emotional upheavals, bodily sensations, and untold stories of marginalized bodies. He also explores the importance of drag and resilience in queer communities and its contribution to the development of self-acceptance.
Thesea Rigou is a Cypriot interdisciplinary artist, educator and gardener based in Berlin. Her artistic practice deals with socio-ecological issues and combines installations, performances and printmaking through a combination of theoretical exploration and experimental material research. As an art educator, Rigou enjoys creating safe spaces for critical dialogue and political engagement and brings experience from collaborative and self-organized projects.
