Workshop on Giacomo Puccini's work with a visit to the opera the following day

This event format invites opera novices as well as professionals and interested parties to try their hand at theater acting based on Giacomo Puccini's work "Turandot" and to find a playful, aesthetic approach to the plot, the music, the characters and their relationships. Music theater teachers from the Cologne Opera will guide you through the workshop with easy steps and a lot of fun. Together they will create a space in which they can improvise, act, discuss and reflect.

The workshop will take place on the 3rd floor of the Interim Central Library. Immediately afterwards, curious visitors can join a 30-minute guided tour of the Interim.

The joint visit to the performance the following day rounds off the project and is included in the ticket price. The opera visit is in the StaatenHaus, Rheinparkweg 1, 50679 Cologne.

The event takes place in cooperation with the Cologne Opera.
