Discrimination. Mental health. Approaches.

What role does discrimination play in our mental health? Whose realities of life are considered in therapy and counseling, and whose are not? Who is heard, what has space? What barriers exist, how are access points designed and what does this have to do with power? Where are the (im)possibilities?
The evening is dedicated to topics critical of discrimination in therapy and counseling with a focus on the criticism of racism and anti-Semitism and their interconnections.

Stephanie Cuff-Schöttle, Ilja Gold and Kira Dücker will read from their contributions to the book "Intersectionality in Therapy and Counseling", which was published at the end of 2025, and will then enter into a discussion with each other and the audience. Moderation: Dr. Elena Ball.
