A view from the Resistenza

The Italian contemporary witness and vice president of the ANED (Associazione Nazionale Ex Deportati Nei Campi Nazisti) Guido Lorenzetti deals with forgettable highlights of fascism in worthwhile short portraits. In twelve sketches, Guido Lorenzetti portrays actors from the period of Nazi rule, war and occupation. In doing so, Lorenzetti takes up debates that have become increasingly explosive in Meloni's Italy, such as the attitude of the anti-fascist resistance. A personal contribution about his father Andrea Lorenzetti, who was active in the Resistenza and died in the Mauthausen concentration camp in spring 1945, rounds off the volume.

Guido Lorenzetti, born in 1938, publicist and contemporary witness, lives in Milan, Vice President of ANED (Associazione Nazionale Ex Deportati Nei Campi Nazisti), member of the board of the International Federation of Resistance Fighters (FIR).

The event is a cooperation between the Münzenberg Forum and the VVN-BdA.
