When I'm with you (UA)

In the organizer's words:

a play developed by Stephan Mahn and a young ensemble about friendship and what connects us ● Theaterakademie ● 12+

They provide support when everything else starts to falter and are sometimes even more important than family: friends. Freely chosen, they help to break free from parental guidelines and show ways through the chaos of the present. But friends can also be incredibly annoying and sometimes even hurt us. How do these very special relationships begin, what milestones are there and why do they sometimes end?

In this play development, young players aged 14 and over explore friendship in all its facets and ask themselves: Which parts of their identity only develop through contact with others? Together, they scour literature and pop culture for different images of friendship. Always in search of cohesion, reliability and a shared future.
