Aus heiterem Himmel

A clown enters the stage and conjures up colored balls of plasticine from his pockets. From them emerge a turtle, armadillo and later a snake. Tortoise has a favorite spot under a floating stone and doesn't want to leave it. He invites Armadillo to join him in his favorite spot. But Armadillo has a bad feeling there and is curious about another, unknown place.
When Snake arrives, she joins Armadillo and Tortoise feels left out. Only when they are all able to escape danger together is Tortoise ready to leave the familiar space and set off together into completely new realms.

Out of the blue, it is revealed how enriching and supportive community can feel when it is time to set off into the unknown from familiar and cherished surroundings. The production, based on Jon Klassen's philosophical picture book, shows clownish, moving theater with objects - without many words.
