Bex Burch – As yet untitled

As part of the series Four nights in Berlin, London, Chicago and New York

An ensemble linking Berlin and London presents As yet untitled, an ever-evolving work by Bex Burch. With Laurel Pardue, Tamar Osborn, Johannes Schleiermacher, Lukas Akintaya and Luca Curcio, the work has been created since May 2025 in a collaborative process characterized by continuous exchange and the special openness of the Berlin music scene.

Between composed structures and individual freedom, As yet untitled sees itself less as a fixed composition than as a living process and invites both the musicians and the audience to concentrated listening, reaction and a trust that unfolds between the musicians and the audience. Sound, gesture and presence interweave to create a shared experience in which the boundaries between individual voices gradually merge into something collective.

The Berlin performance marks the start of Four nights, a series that spans four cities and two continents and continues in London at Cafe OTO (29.6.), at Constellation, Chicago (10.7.) and with FourOneOne, New York (31.7.). Each edition rethinks the piece in the respective local context and thus forms a constellation of encounters that points beyond the individual moment.

Between structure and improvisation, repetition and dissolution, As yetcombines untitled naturalsounds, musical language and the presence of those present. At its core is an expanded understanding of collaboration that extends beyond the ensemble into the space, the audience and the community.
