The Bremen Baroque Orchestra invites you on a musical journey of discovery between the old and new worlds, between Europe and Latin America. The starting point is Antonio Vivaldi's famous "Four Seasons", played by the multi-award-winning Venezuelan violinist Alexis Cárdenas. The musicians combine Vivaldi's baroque musical language with traditional rhythms and dances such as joropo, samba and son in this extraordinary and captivating crossover program. The result is an artistic playground where baroque rhetoric and improvisations meet influences from classical, jazz and traditional music. As a special guest of honor, even Joseph Haydn will make a curious appearance!
