FILMNACHT Schloss Benrath "Spencer"

The Benrath Palace and Park Foundation invites you to the second open-air film night in the courtyard of the east wing of Benrath Palace. The widely acclaimed film drama "Spencer" by Pablo Larraín with Kristen Stewart in the leading role will be shown.

The film is dedicated to the story of Princess Diana and paints a haunting psychological portrait of a woman caught between monarchical duty, personal confinement and the desire for self-determination. In poetic images, "Spencer" tells of inner resistance, identity and the courage to free herself from social constraints. Diana was much more than the wife of Charles, the then Prince of the Throne and now King - she was a loving mother, an independent personality and a woman who had the courage to resist power.

The castle café will provide you with sweet and savory snacks and drinks.
