Friends are suddenly carrying weapons, relatives want Palestinians to be wiped out, neighbors accuse her of betraying the soldiers. The everyday life of war between the shelter and omnipresent loss takes Levy to her limits - as a mother and as a partner, but also as a German who must now understand that the country she has chosen to live in has long since lost hope of a peaceful future with the Palestinians.
