Is it a label, a crew, a movement? It is Patina Records! The combined power of eight characters directly from the Pott provides a breath of fresh air and energy in the scene, on the stages and in the feed. Rap skills meet ignorance, 2000s German rap meets new wave and catchy hooks meet bars. But this gang is more than just music: it is an intimate friendship that makes bubbles burst and at the same time unites the whole of German rap. A multi-faceted constellation that, despite their differences, pursues a common, long-term vision - always on the pulse of the times without blindly following them.

In our new series "DeepTalk by INSEL", we are bringing rap and hip-hop art to the Bergisch metropolis of Wuppertal!
