Pulse Lab: Schulterblick

Sound meets dance - unlike almost any other company, Cooperativa Maura Morales stands for a particularly close correlation between movement and sound, dance and music. In all of her works, this close communication between choreography and music can be felt, seen and heard as equal dialog partners and actors in the performance.

A few years ago, the initiative for their creative format Pulse Lab emerged from this formative working method of the company. The Cooperativa Maura Morales invites three artists from the fields of music/composition/sound and three artists from the fields of choreography/dance/performance to a three-day creative clash at the interface of music and movement.

Three times three - the participants will form three randomly selected Pulse teams, each of which will develop a joint work over a period of three days. The creative challenge of the Pulse Lab is to grasp the artistic language and artistic visions of the partners in the shortest possible time and to formulate and communicate their own visions. A jointly developed composition and choreography is presented to the audience at the end in the form of a "shoulder view".
