Summer Session mit caems

In the organizer's words:

On May 29, the first Summer Session will take place at Volksbad Jena. Look forward to a small, cozy pre-summer evening concert under the open sky in the Volksbad courtyard with the Jena band caems.

caems find their sound between sensitive acoustics and danceable German pop. The five-piece band from Jena relies on the polyphonic vocals of the three singers, which are sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful over catchy melodies and give their songs an unmistakable touch. Their lyrics tell of the small and big moments that life writes - honest, approachable, sometimes melancholy, often full of lightness. In doing so, caems creates a living room atmosphere and combines it with the energy that indie pop also brings to the dance floor. In spring 2025, the band was part of the local heroes funding project "Bahnhofbeats". Their song "Tanz allein" was created with sounds recorded at Erfurt station. In the fall of 2025, caems represented Thuringia at the national final of local heroes, attracting national attention.

The evening will be opened by 19-year-old Maja-Philie. The singer-songwriter will be performing her own songs as well as covers.
