Westside Cowboy

Westside Cowboy are coming to Germany for two exclusive shows in fall 2026, playing at Helios 37 in Cologne on October 30, 2026 and at Lido in Berlin on November 6, 2026. The band is one of the most exciting new names on the British indie scene and has quickly made a name for itself internationally with its idiosyncratic sound, somewhere between indie and alternative.

With their second EP "So Much Country 'Till We Get There", released in January 2026 via Adventure Recordings, an imprint of Island Records, Westside Cowboy are cementing their reputation as one of the most exciting new UK bands at the moment. The songs combine great melodies with a charmingly unpolished approach to country, indie and art rock - a style the band themselves describe with a wink as "Britainicana". Singles such as "Don't Throw Rocks" and "Can't See" were included in the BBC 6 Music playlist and received additional support on BBC Radio 1.

Westside Cowboy has already achieved an extraordinary status, especially live. After a completely sold-out UK tour in January and February, first US dates at the end of 2025 and concerts with Geese and Black Country, New Road, the band is growing with impressive momentum. Performances at festivals such as Glastonbury, Green Man and End of The Road have shown how powerful their live shows are: direct, intense and full of energy. The fact that the band are already playing larger venues even before a debut album has been released underlines their status within a new wave of British guitar bands.

Westside Cowboy are Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O'Connell and Paddy Murphy. What sets the four of them apart is their almost intuitive interplay, which lends their songs a special immediacy. Between raw emotionality, musical openness and a strong shared dynamic, a sound is created that seems familiar and at the same time opens up something new.

The current EP was recorded in New York with renowned producer Loren Humphrey, who has recently worked with Cameron Winter, Arctic Monkeys, Lana Del Rey and Wunderhorse, among others. This collaboration marks the next step in the development of a band that is consciously leaving its comfort zone behind and continuously expanding its sound.
