Humboldt-Bibliothek

The Humboldt Library is the central district library of Reinickendorf. It was designed by the American architect Charles Moore and built in 1987-1989 as part of the International Building Exhibition. Today it is a listed building. The library is named after Alexander and Wilhelm von Humboldt, who spent their childhood in nearby Tegel Palace.

The Humboldt Library not only has over 100,000 items available to borrow, but is also a place to read, work and attend cultural events. Readings, concerts, puppet shows and events on coding and robotics take place here regularly.
