With biting humor and illustrated with charming, beastly drawings, "Queere Tiere" takes a power-critical look at natural science - and shows how much more there is to the animal world than hetero norms and nuclear families.

Author Magda Wystub has always doubted God, traditional values and, above all, her biology teacher. Studying cultural sociology didn't make things any better. Today, she makes artistic documentaries about what society tends to overlook.
