Internationale Fledermausnacht mit Simultanübersetzung in DGS

In the organizer's words:

On the occasion of the 30th International Bat Night, we invite you to an exciting bat workshop at the Spreepark.

The evening begins with an introductory talk that gives an insight into the amazing diversity of bats. We will present exciting and sometimes bizarre behaviors - such as the symbiosis of some species with carnivorous plants or the distinctive social behavior of vampire bats. We also shed light on the important ecological role of our native species.

With this knowledge, we set off at sunset in search of bats in the Spreepark. We will learn about modern methods of bat detection, in particular the use of echo-acoustic detectors. Together we will explore various areas of the park where different species can be expected and experience the nocturnal flyers up close.

Both the bat talk and the tour will be translated into German Sign Language (DGS).

If you require sign language translation but the event is already fully booked, please send us an email. We have a few places available for such cases.
