UNESCO Welterbetag: Welterbestätten Praetorium und Kölner Dom

Thomas Otten and Sebastian Ristow provide information about the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites at the otherwise closed early Christian baptismal font at the Cologne Cathedral excavation. As last year, MiQua and the cathedral excavation will once again be celebrating UNESCO World Heritage Day together.
The World Heritage Sites of Cologne Cathedral and the Roman Praetorium as part of the Lower Germanic Limes will be presented in the modern anteroom of the early Christian baptistery. Interested and curious visitors can immerse themselves in Roman Cologne via reconstructions and films, take part in guided tours and obtain comprehensive information about Cologne's prominent World Heritage Sites.

Thomas Otten and Sebastian Ristow will guide you from the Baptistery to the Praetorium and the MiQua, which is currently under construction. The guided tours of the MiQua start at 12 noon, 1 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm at the Baptistery (below the cathedral choir). The tours are free of charge and limited to 20 people.
