"Write to me, Nino, because every time I read your words, I find my way back home!". With these words, the Syrian poet Lina Atfah addresses Nino Haratischwili - and opens up an intimate space of exchange about childhood and war, memory and lost homelands. In the correspondence collected here from the "Weiter Schreiben" program, we experience how deep connections develop between writers across personal and political boundaries. These letters are more than memories - they are literary contemporary documents in which personal fates are interwoven with global political events.
